Can I install this theme on my WordPress.com hosted site?
If you have a WordPress.com business plan, you can install this theme on WordPress.com. Otherwise, this theme can only be installed on your own self-hosted WordPress site.
What about WordPress theme updates?
The themes sold in the shop are Elementor template kits. This means that once they are installed on your site, you don’t need to worry about specific template updates. The only updates required are for Elementor (and the theme you’re using, such as Hello), just like with any WordPress website.
Some templates (starting from Version 3) include a child theme of the Hello theme. This child theme only brings a few design adjustments (like extra image sizes or improved WooCommerce styles). Since it doesn’t include any functional features, deactivating it has no functional impact. You can replace it with any other theme if you wish.
If an update is made to this child theme, the new version will be directly available in your download area, in the same place as your template.
On my side, I regularly update the kits (at least once or twice a year) to keep them compatible with the latest versions of Elementor. And if I add new layouts or design improvements, clients are informed via the tutorial hub or by email.
In short: no need to worry about template updates — just keep your WordPress site and Elementor up to date.
